MANILA, Philippines – Parokya ni Edgar frontman Chito Miranda took to Instagram to share his thoughts on the political candidates in the 2016 elections.
On Friday, October 16, Chito shared that he was friends with some of the candidates' relatives, but that it was not about friendship but what is good for the country.
Singer-songwriter Chito Miranda recalls the story of how he and his band “Parokya ni Edgar” started.
“Parokya ni Edgar” was formed in the year 1993, which was famous for their original rock novelty songs.
With its success in the music industry, lead vocalist Chito shared his band's humble beginnings on his official Facebook page about the band for their fans to read last December 18.
After 15 years of musical journey, once-popular Filipino rock band Kamikazee held its last bar gig on Monday night at 12 Monkeys Music Hall & Pub in Makati City.
In a Facebook post, rock band Parokya Ni Edgar shared a photo of its frontman Chito Miranda hugging Kamikazee vocalist Jay Contreras, who appeared to be gripped with sadness.
Parokya Ni Edgar members have always considered, based in past interviews, Kamikazee as their “sister band.”
